This Azure spot called for visual drama and rich contrast. After location scouting several pools, we chose the option with the least distracting background. Since we were lighting a large indoor swimming pool on a tight budget, I leaned into high contrast rim lighting and deep shadows. In several shots you can see practical lights rigged to the wall behind the diver for some added style. Any footage that doesn’t feature the diver is stock footage. The post team crushed in on the subtle animations and color grading to make the stock footage match our shoot day.
