Holiday Hacks from Make it Reindeer. This was a hilarious shoot. We had a live-action actor with his head exposed in a big costume for the body and hand performance. Then we filmed a taxidermized reindeer head with little bobs and dips for the… well, reindeer head. The post team animated the mouth to bring it all together. I was also tapped to operate the drone, which is pretty sketch trying to get as close to hitting the set dec as you can without actually hitting it in a fully metal building with terrible communication between the drone and the remote. But alas, it worked out.
